About Ms. Jinny Riat
Jinny, from a young age, has been curious about and sought to question the way things are. It is with this proclivity, she has become invested in questioning the prevalent discourse on management and it’s theory and subsequently it’s practice. After causing a major turnaround in her family business of automotive components that had been reeling under financial crises, she moved to the UK where she pursued her Masters in Coaching and Development whilst coaching across various verticals like renewable energy, pharmaceuticals, health and education.
Having been an entrepreneur, an employee and now an organisational coach, she has developed a rich understanding of the dynamics of organisations. She is greatly influenced by social constructivist paradigm and existential philosophies and her Masters study exposed her to various academic disciplines and thought leaders informing the field of Organisational Development, as a result of which she draws from theories and research by academicians and research fellows at universities such as Harvard and MIT. She has also undertaken a year long research project in understanding the development of coaching as a profession in India, in the light of its socio-cultural heritage. She has been invited to present a paper on her research at an international research conference in the UK.
Jinny takes people on self-reflective journey in her coaching and engages people in reflective conversations. In any scenario it is her engaging style that leaves people moved and developmentally inclined.
