About the Award Recipient
The Karimnagar Milk Producer Company Limited better known as Karimnagar Dairy is making strides as leading dairy in the state in terms of milk sales, procurement and milk producer’s welfare programmes. The dairy was developed to meet the growing milk procurement by adding chilling centres, bulk cooling units and covering more villages and enrolling more milk producing farmers into the cooperative fold. The dairy also accorded priority for welfare of animals, conducting regular medical camps with veterinary staff at their doorstep and taking up artificial insemination for producing quality breed to increase milk production
