In her diverse roles, Aparna has successfully been a learning partner, mentor and coach to leaders, leadership teams and organisations to build competencies, learning abilities and nimbleness for achieving purposeful performance.

After completing her post graduation in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations (PM & IR) from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, Aparna made her foray into the corporate world through NOCIL and moved into different roles in the HR function in organisations like Monsanto, Novartis, UCB, Deutsche Bank, Lafarge & Greaves Cotton. Over the years, Aparna has learnt to persistently and passionately value freedom, authentic relationships and realization of potential of people.

Winner of many accolades like ‘Women Leadership Award’ for BFSI (Banking, Financial Services & Insurance) Awards by Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE), Hyderabad, ‘Achiever of Excellence Award’ by Bombay Management Association (BMA) & Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD, Mumbai), she is reckoned as one of the top women HR Leaders in the country & quoted as a Thought Leader in HR. Under her leadership at Lafarge, many in-company Global Awards such as ‘Digilearn Championship Trophy’ & ‘WAVE’ (Women Adding Value & Excellence) have been received besides external recognitions like CLO (Chief Learning Officer’s) Award consecutively for 3 years.

Beyond her corporate role as an HR Leader, Aparna also dons the hat of HR contributor through her associations with Indian Society of Training & Development (ISTD), All India Management Association (AIMA), National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM), National HRD Network, and Sumedhas, where she actively participates in disseminating her acquired knowledge and build the HR fraternity by creating future leaders. She was the Honorary Treasurer of National HRD Network, Mumbai Chapter (2012-2015) and a member of the Executive Committee. She was also elected as member of the National Executive Board of NHRDN for the period 2013-2015. Currently, she is an Independent Director on the Board of T.S Alloys Ltd.(100% subsidiary of Tata Steel).

Pranav Jyoti is the Head of Global HR Operations and people analytics at VLCC across all business verticals including Wellness, Personal Care Products, Vanity Cube and Wellness science. Pranav has been leading people and digitalization transformation, steering the brand and teams through market expansion, mergers, integrations, restructuring and cultural transformation at an organisation level. His dynamic role in the organization includes building and leading significant change management programs for future leadership and talent pipeline 2.0.

In his current role at VLCC Pranav has implemented the following:

  • Decentralised and Digitally visualized HR with People Analytics – built an entire AI driven data processing model for decentralizing people decisions. Helped drive hiring, compliance and emotional support groups via curating data with AI and ML
  • Building Leadership for tomorrow – Hire, Coach, Counsel the leadership on overall people agenda and enabling optimum performance standards for top management as well as team members
  • Talent Strategy – Instituted the talent management strategy roadmap. Streamlined acquisition, retention, development and succession strategies leveraging right talent management models. Introduced mentoring & career progression programs focusing on home-grown talent
  • Mergers & Acquisition – Demonstrated agility and effectiveness in steering organization through M&A. Lead corporate merger of legacy and acquired entities; integrated the organizational values, talent management practices, rewards, learning and development, performance management and HR policies & processes
  • Employee Engagement – Developed effective strategies during growth and M&A that helped sustain & enhance overall engagement during change
  • Rewards & Recognition – Championed the execution of monetary and non-monetary rewards & recognition programs, rolled out a standard compensation framework enabling seamless movement of talent across business entities.

Prior to his association with VLCC, Pranav was responsible for building Askme’s Digital platform as a HR Partner and led the growth in building categories and technology teams both in India and overseas. He has earlier worked with Japan based Recruit Holdings, in the Executive search business for over a decade building teams at the highest level across Asia, Middle East, Singapore, Malaysia and India.

Prior to Recruit Holdings, Pranav was instrumental in building strategy and team at Miraist and PY, an Indo-Japanese growth partnership firm with offices in the region. The firm leads Market entry of Japanese companies in the India market with full service HR and F&A support. As a Co-founder & Director of the firm, Pranav has led the firm to scale and currently holds an advisory role in it.

Pranav’s expertise lies in building leadership teams at impact levels and also cuts across top to bottom hiring for these leaders in sales, marketing, functional category and technology. He weaves people, technology and end consumers to built a strong retail and consumer knowhow keeping leadership in mind. Pranav is an alumnus of MSU and UChicago – Booth school of Business and has had a distinguished career in HR Services, Executive search and building businesses. He comes with ~15 years of focused experience in building various categories in the HR & People Management space.

Kumar Devesh comes with over 11 years of experience in HR. During his experience he has provided consultation to multiple firms in drafting policies, delivered motivational speeches and trainings, and provided counselling to people.

Right from heading the global recruitment, to managing training, to driving sales, to now heading HR, he has worn multiple hats and successfully delivered in each of the roles. He started his professional stint as a lecturer and later found his interest in connecting with people, which drew him towards building a career in HR. He currently drives HR for Software Business Solutions Consulting, a US based IT company.

Devesh is an MBA, a certified HR Analytics professional, Certified Appreciative Coach & Counsellor and a Certified Emotional Intelligence Coach. He additionally is eligible to be a member in the internal committee of any company for Prevention of Sexual Harassment against Women, and also holds a PhD in Alternative Medicine. He is a member of International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine and International Association of Reiki Professionals.During his free time, he practices Astrology, Numerology, Palmistry, Vastu, Reiki, Spiritual healing and so on.

Ankita holds a PHd in Management and is a Gold Medalist in BBA as well as MBA. She has done HR and Business Strategy related Executive Management Programmes from IIM-A, ISB- Hyderabad and XLRI. She has excelled in establishing innovative and competitive initiatives and institutionalizing a strong performance driven culture at CIGNEX Datamatics which has resulted in the company being certified as a “Great Place to Work 2017-18 and 2018-19” . For 2018-19, company holds 23 rd rank in India, which is a great achievement.

Her expertise includes transformational change management and M&A initiatives. She has extensively worked in all facets of HR with special interest in the field of leadership Development, Organizational Behaviour, Culture Building and Employee Engagement.
